After logging into MyKU, click on the "MyKU Forms" tile on the Faculty Homepage.

You can then click on the "Office Hours" icon from the "Start a Form" menu option.

If you have already submitted office hours in the past (for any term), then you will be taken to a form review screen.  This screen will show you all prior submitted forms and what status they are in, as well as a "Start New Form" button to allow you to submit a new Office Hours request.

If you have not already submitted a form, then you will be taken directly into the form so that you can start a new form.

Following the criteria outlined in the top area of the screen, complete the form by ticking off the checkboxes under the appropriate days of the week, and entering time periods and meeting locations.  You can add additional office hours using the add row (+) button, or delete an entire row using the delete row (-) button.

Error checks are performed as you enter information, and when you attempt to submit the form.  Requests that conflict with criteria at the top of the screen, or with your class schedule at the bottom of the screen, will trigger warnings and error messages to appear.  Furthermore, your requested hours will be tallied and totaled as you work through the form:

If the information put into "Additional Info" is a URL (web address), then the system will convert it to a clickable link when the student views your office hours.  You can also type in any free-form text for students to see.  There is also a "Comments to Students" box that will show additional messaging for students.

You can monitor pending requests by returning to the form review screen (Figure 3 above), or by selecting Submitted Forms in the menu to view all prior submitted forms.

If a request is denied, you will be able to submit another request on the Add Office Hours screen.
