For self-service password reset you must first have a personal email address entered in MyKU so you can receive a PIN to verify your identify during the password recovery process. Please keep your personal email address updated in MyKU at all times.


The KU Account Management application (KUAM) provides a quick and easy way to set, reset, and recover your password. More information on using the KUAM password reset application can be found in our article.


If you don't have your updated personal email address in MyKU, you'll need to contact the IT Help Center during business hours to reset your password.


Update Your Personal Email Address

  1. Login to MyKU.

  2. Locate and click on the "Employee Directory" tile.

  3. Select "Edit Profile" from the left menu.


  4. Update the Password Reset Setup section.


  5. Click "Save" at the bottom.
