Excel Settings

Navigate to “Trust Settings.” (File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings).

Select “Protected View,” along the left. 

Uncheck the first checkbox (“Enable Protected View for files originating from the Internet”). 

Browser Settings

Note: Settings and setting locations will differ depending on your browser.

1. Navigate to “Trusted Sites.” (In Internet Explorer: Tools Menu > Internet Options > Security Tab > Trusted Sites > Sites)

Add “https://*.kutztown.edu” to the trusted sites list. Click “Add.” Click “Close.”

Click “Custom Level” and then scroll to the “Downloads” section. Select “Enable” for “Automatic prompting for file downloads.” Click “OK.”

Click “OK” to save the “Internet Options” settings. When the Warning message pops up about saving settings, click “Yes.”
