The integrated HTML Editor is used create content inside D2L. The most common area you will find the HTML Editor is when composing discussion posts and responses.
Using the HTML Editor is as simple as entering a subject for your post and then composing your message.
Additional tools are also available to manipulate content:
Insert Stuff - allows you to add items such as YouTube videos, external links, and video embed codes.
Images - allows you to insert images inline with your text.
Quicklinks - allows you to link to course materials.
Font - allows you to change your text style.
Cut/Copy/Paste - copy and paste into or out of the HTML editor. Some individuals like to compose their discussions in a Word document and then paste the final version into the discussion area to post. This ensures that you will not lose your work as you draft your response!
