This article shows how you can upload an existing video file to Mediasite to share via streaming. To create a new presentation, see the Mediasite articles.

Navigate and login to MyMediasite with your KU credentials. Click the "Add Media" button. 

Choose "I want to upload a file from my computer."

Select the media from the computer browser.

Provide a name and description (optional) for the video. You can upload the video to your general account ("My Drafts") or select a specific channel if you already have a channel created. Click "Create Presentation."

The video will upload and begin to process. You will automatically be taken to the video's page where you can update settings and share the video.

Remember to set the video visibility to "My Organization" after the video has finished processing. This means that any KU user with the direct link to the presentation will be able to view the presentation. If you would like the video to be available to users outside KU, set the visibility to "Everyone." Please note that this disable view statistic tracking.
