This article explains how to reset, or delete, a student quiz attempt. Instructors may need to reset a student quiz attempt if an error occurs during a single attempt quiz.
On the “Quizzes” page, click the “actions arrow” next to the name of the quiz. Select “Grade” from the drop-down menu.
A list of users who have completed an attempt for that quiz will display. Select the checkbox next to the user’s attempt that you need to reset. Then click the trash icon.
A “Reset Attempt” confirmation dialogue will appear. Click “OK” to permanently delete the attempt.
The attempt will be deleted and the student can retake the quiz as though it were the first time.
