This document explains how to attach a file to a discussion post. This feature is useful when instructors or students wish to attach a file or image to share with their peers or support a discussion.
Enter the topic or thread that you plan to post or create a reply to. Click “Start a New Thread” to compose a new message or “Reply” to respond to an existing thread.
Enter a subject for the post and compose the message. Under the message body, click “Add Attachments.”
Drag and drop the file(s) into the attachment section or click “Upload” to browse for the file on our computer. You can also record an audio response to the post by clicking “Record Audio.” The “Choose Existing” allows you to add a file that is already uploaded to D2L.
The file(s) that you uploaded will display under the attachments section. Click “Post” to publish your message and attachment to the discussion.
