Tiles are another new navigation feature in the refreshed MyKU interface. Tiles are provided on homepages to showcase important content and link to resources.
Tiles serve up content in a number of ways. Some Tiles simply link to specific content, like the D2L tile, which opens up the D2L login screen.
Other tiles display personalized content without the need to navigate around the system. For example, the Current Instructors and Advisors tile provides contact and office location information for the faculty members you interact with during the semester.
Other tiles pool common resources together. Links to these resources display on the left, while the content displays on the right. The KU Financial Account tile provides information about outstanding charges and pending Financial Aid, along with ways make payments and access other relevant financial data.
