Tiles are another new navigation feature in the refreshed MyKU interface.  Tiles are provided on homepages to showcase important content and link to resources.

Tiles serve up content in a number of ways. Some tiles simply link to specific content, like the D2L tile, which opens up the D2L login screen. 

Other tiles display personalized content without the need to navigate around the system. For example, on the Workflow Inbox tile on the Faculty Homepage, the number of outstanding items in a professor’s Worklist is displayed right on the tile.

Other tiles pool common resources together.  Links to these resources displays on the left, while the content displays on the right. 

For example, the Faculty Resources tile collects frequently used screens used by faculty and Academic Department staff, such as Student Services Center, Quick Enroll, and Transcript processing.
