During off-semester maintenance of D2L, LTI integrations (also known as External Learning Tools) may be updated. These integrations include publisher courseware and third-party apps, such as Zoom or Mediasite. When these integrations are updated, links made with a previous version will no longer function.
Automatic Link Migration
By default, updated LTI integrations have automatic link migration enabled. With this in place, any course content copied from a previous semester using the Import/Export Copy Components tool will automatically be updated to the latest version. Automatic link migration requires no action from the instructor.
Manual Link Migration
If a course already had LTI links in place at the time of the upgrade, they will have to be migrated manually. To do so, navigate to Course Admin>External Learning Tools.
On this page, select the Manage Tool Links (Legacy) tab, then click Migrate. All links in the course will be updated to the latest version.
