Adobe Express and Creative Cloud
All Kutztown University faculty, staff, and students have access to Adobe Express. Students can access Adobe Creative Cloud applications through open-access and select discipline-specific computer labs. Faculty and staff may request a Creative Cloud license for university or personal devices; requests are reviewed to verify an instructional, business, or operational need before approval.
Adobe Express
Adobe Express is a web-based creative platform that supports many content creation needs, including:
- Flyers and posters
- Presentations
- Social media graphics
- Basic photo editing
- Short-form videos
- Limited AI-generated images and videos
For many users, Adobe Express provides the tools needed to complete their work without requiring access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
Signing in to Adobe Express
To access Adobe’s web-based tools, navigate to Adobe.com and click Sign in in the top right corner. Click on More sign-in options, then Continue with Microsoft. Enter your Kutztown University credentials to sign in.

Avoid creating an account with your university email address, as this will be a personal account not connected to Kutztown University’s licensing structure and can cause confusion.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud and the most common Adobe apps are preinstalled on open-access and select discipline-specific Kutztown University computer labs. On employee devices, Acrobat is installed and the remaining applications can be installed through Company Portal (Windows) or Self Service (Mac) but will function only if you are assigned a license.
Requesting a Creative Cloud License
Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are limited and are assigned based on demonstrated instructional, business, or operational needs.
Staff and faculty whose work requires advanced applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, or After Effects may request a Creative Cloud license through the IT Help Center. Adobe license assignments may be reviewed periodically to ensure university resources are being utilized effectively.
KUIT encourages users to evaluate Adobe Express first, as it meets the needs of many common design and content creation tasks.
