Duo Two-Step Authentication (2SA) will now be required for VPN access. Please review the instructions below and have your 2SA device available when logging into VPN.


Logging into VPN FortiClient

Method 1 - push notification or phone call
Log into FortiClient with your KU User ID and password. 

Please note, the VPN does not notify you for 2SA. 


Instead, check your status. When it reaches 45%, look for your Duo 2SA push notification or phone call.



Method 2 - one time passcode from Duo or hardware token

Log in using your KU user ID and password.  Add the passcode to the end of the password, separated by a comma with no space.


Example
Username: Avalanche
Password: Im@GoldenBear,123456 


Logging in to KU Connect Web Portal

First, log in to https://kuconnect.kutztown.edu/ with your KU user ID and password.

Method 1 - push notification or phone call

Log in to KUConnect Web Portal with you KU user ID and password. Please note, the VPN does not notify you for 2SA. Instead, check Status. When it reaches 45%, look for your Duo 2SA push notification or phone call.



Method 2 - one time passcode from Duo or hardware token

Log in using your KU user ID and password.  Add the passcode to the end of the password separated by a comma with no space.
