Mobility Print delivers print services for iOS, Windows, macOS, Android, and Chrome OS devices. Mobility Print enables all users to securely print to any print release station, giving all students printer options from personal devices.
Setting Up a Mobility Print Device
Windows
Click the following address for the Windows Mobility Print Installer: https://papercut.com/products/ng/mobility-print/download/client/windows/.
- You'll be prompted to select the printers you want to use. Enter your Kutztown username and password.
- When it's time to print, just print like you normally would. Be sure to use the printer you selected when you installed Mobility Print.
Mac
- Navigate to System Preferences > Printers and Scanners.
- Click the circular arrow icon under the Printers list. The Add dialog is displayed. It displays a list of all of the discovered printers on the network.
- Select a printer. The Name, Location, and Use is displayed.
- Check that Use is set to Secure AirPrint.
- If Secure AirPrint isn't displayed:
- Close the Add dialog.
- Disconnect from the network, then reconnect to it again.
- Check if you can see Secure AirPrint now. If you can't, contact your System Administrator.
- Click Add.
- Print your document. When prompted, enter your Kutztown username and password.
NOTE
- If you're not sure how to print from your application, take a look at Print from your Mac.
- If you enter the wrong authentication details, MacBook devices do not show any warning message; your job just will not print.
- If your job doesn’t print, check the Print Queue dialog. If the print job is there and has the message Held for authentication, click the circular arrow icon; then re-enter your login details.
Chrome OS
- Make sure the client is connected to your organization’s network.
- Install the Mobility Print Chrome app.
- If you want to print from Android applications such as Microsoft Word:
- Enable Google Play store as a user or as an Administrator.
- Install the Mobility Print Android app from the Google Play Store.
- Click Open.
- Click Android settings.
- Click Mobility Print.
- Click the enable toggle.
- Open the page to print
The way you print is different depending on the app you're printing from. For more information, see the documentation for the app. When you select a printer, make sure you select a Mobility Print printer as identified by the PaperCut icon. - Print the content.
For example, to print from Microsoft Word, press Ctrl+P, select a printer; then click Print. - When prompted, sign in.
NOTE
- Android apps are available only on supported devices. To see if your Chromebook supports Android app printing, see Chrome OS Systems Supporting Android Apps.
- If you are unsure whether or not your apps are Android apps:
- Open the Play Store app.
- Click the hamburger menu; then select My Apps and Games.
- Click the Installed tab. A list of the Android apps installed on your Chromebook is displayed.
iOS
Mobility Print works just like AirPrint. Make sure your iPhone or iPad is connected to BearNet Secure. You'll be prompted to enter your Kutztown username and password.

Android
- Make sure your Android device is connected to BearNet Secure.
- Install the Mobility Print app from the Google Play Store.
- Launch the app.
- Tap Android settings.
- Tap Mobility Print.
- Tap the enable toggle.
- Exit out of Settings.
- Print your document. When prompted, enter your Kutztown username and password.
The way you print is different depending on the app you want to print from. For more information, see the documentation for the app. When you select a printer, make sure you select a Mobility Print printer as identified by the PaperCut icon.
If you select the Remember me checkbox, your phone will remember your login details for that printer for 30 days.
