One of the first things to do after setting up a password is signing into the Outlook Web App.
Navigating to Outlook
There are multiple ways of navigating to the Outlook Web App. From the Kutztown University homepage, click on K You then select the Envelope Icon to be taken directly to Outlook.
Alternatively, navigate to Outlook.com or Office.com and click Sign In.
Signing In
On the Microsoft Sign In screen, enter your Kutztown University email address. Click Next. Enter your password and click Sign In.
If you have not set up multi-factor authentication, you will be prompted to do so. Microsoft Authenticator is recommended for this process. Full instructions on installing and using Microsoft Authenticator can be found here.
Signing in with Authenticator
- When signing in, select Approve a request on my Microsoft Authenticator app.
- A number will appear on-screen. On your phone, a notification will appear and ask you to type in that number. Enter the number and click Yes to sign in.
Signing in with a Verification Code
This method can be used when you do not have a network connection on your personal device.
- When signing in, select Use a verification code.
- Open Microsoft Authenticator and select your student email address.
- A one-time passcode will be generated every 30 seconds. Use this code to sign in.
Office.com
Once these steps are completed, you will have access to your email via the Outlook Web App. To access the other Office apps available on the web, click the app launcher icon in the top corner or navigate to Office.com.
