Faculty and staff members will have access to Panorama’s DocHub, a separate area where documents can be uploaded and evaluated for accessibility without being attached to a D2L course.
Login to Panorama to access the DocHub using your KU account.
Once a document has been uploaded to DocHub, Panorama will evaluate the document for an accessibility score and generate an accessibility report. The report will highlight accessibility issues, allow users to fix certain issues, and give instructions to address issues that cannot be resolved online.
Alternative document formats can be generated through DocHub, such as PDF, ePub, Braille formats, audio files, etc. Documents can also be translated.
Using DocHub
- Once you login to Panorama, navigate to the DocHub by opening the left sidebar and selecting “DocHub” at the top of the list.
- Upload a document by selecting the “Upload” button.
- Select the document you want to upload to DocHub.
- Once the document has been uploaded, it will be displayed under the “Files” section. Select the document to display a dialog window which displays links to the Accessibility Report and alternative formats to generate.
- Select “View” under the Accessibility Report to access more information about accessibility issues and how to fix them.
