"Invalid Username" or "Invalid Password" Messages

Passwords expire every 180 days. If you receive a message the your "Username and/or Password are invalid," make sure you change your password immediately.  Please note that your username will never change.


If the KU Account Management application (KUAM) will not accept your new desired password, make sure it meets the requirements for a strong password, and does not contain any part of your name.

If you are a returning student or need to pay a bill, your account may be disabled. Please contact the IT Help Center for assistance.
