To access and update your faculty webpage, your web publishing tool must be configured to use FTP with SSL.


Note that your username format is faculty.kutztown.edu|username (press Shift+\ to get the | character).


If your web publishing platform or FTP client does not support FTP with SSL, contact the IT Helpcenter.  We will help you upgrade your software or find an alternative that supports secure communication.


Below are two common web publishing tools with FTP over SSL support, FileZilla and Adobe Dreamweaver.  The following sections illustrate sample configurations using FTP with SSL with these products.


FileZilla

To access your site via FileZilla, open the app and click on File>Site Manager… (you can also use the shortcut Ctrl+S).



In the window that opens, click on New site. Name your site as desired, then enter the configuration settings as depicted below.



Dreamweaver

To access your site via Dreamweaver, open the app and click on Site>Manage Sites…

 


In the window that opens, click on New Site.



In the sidebar, click on Servers and then the icon.



Enter the configuration settings as depicted below.
